I mostly try to be polite and be open-minded about any beliefs that come across my way, or at least sit and nod politely, but sometimes I just don't have the patience and need to vent.
How the fuck was anyone delusional enough to possibly believe that Trump would help the working class? How the fuck does anyone possibly think anything he is doing is helping anyone except the elite? There are huge swathes of the US where the people who will be damaged the most by these policies will celebrate them. Europe gets a ton of flak for being "suicidal", but they are practically a shoot-on-sight survivalist compound compared to the sheer self-delusion of the US working class. Although can you really blame the oligarchs for taking advantage of such an easy mark? Say freedom over and over and they will let you do pretty much anything you want, the only thing holding you in check being the people who actually want their nation to act like a developed country, or as they are more commonly known, whiny millennial socialists who want everything handed to them.
